My son was born with imperforate anus and requires low fiber diet and medical constipation. Pectin is used for stool bulking. Initially we tried other brands and could barely get him to take it. For 2 years now we have been using pacific pectin without acid and it works great and he takes it without issue. If your child or other needs to take pectin for medical purposes, this is the way to go.

Our son was born with imperforate anus and requires pectin 3x/day. After struggling with other pectins, we found pacific pectin without acid and now we have no problems. Perfect for those who need a bulking agent as we do.

We were having problems with many of our items not setting that had set in past times. Pacific Pectin recommended this and it has Solved the problem. Since we cook every small batch by hand it has saved the day.

Our daughter needs to take pectin for dietary/health reasons. I am able to put this in a drink for her and she drinks it without any problem!
